Warrington Man Charged With Endangering The Welfare Of Minors
Police found fentanyl, an extremely addictive and deadly synthetic opioid, at the bottom of a staircase that led to the children's bedrooms.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington Township man has been charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of minors following an incident in November.
A 36-year-old man was arrested after he turned himself in to police on an arrest warrant secured by the department.
On Nov. 23, Warrington Police responded to a residential medical emergency. During their investigation, they discovered an adult woman who was overdosing and the man who appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances.

Also present in the home were three juvenile children.
Police said the home was in a state of extreme disarray with water damage evident and rotting food spread throughout the kitchen. Police also found controlled substances inside the home, which the man told police contained fentanyl, an extremely addictive and deadly synthetic opioid, at the bottom of a staircase that led to the children’s bedrooms.

All controlled substances were submitted for forensic testing.
The man was charged with three counts of endangering a minor. He was then processed and arraigned before the Honorable Judge Christopher O'Neill who set bail at $15,000 unsecured. The man was released from custody. Bail conditions prohibit unsupervised visits with his children, and they must remain in the custody of a family member.
