Crews Restore Service Following Water Main Break In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Doylestown Borough Water Department reports that water service has been restored following a water main break Tuesday morning on North Clinton Street between Doyle and Union.

Throughout the day on Tuesday, residents in the immediate area faced water service interruptions as crews worked to fix the broken pipe.

Water service was restored around 9 p.m. Tuesday night, water company officials said.

"Water service has been restored to the areas affected by the main break. We appreciate your patience while our water department worked to complete the necessary repairs," the water department said.

Crews from the Doylestown Water Department continue to work on a water main break in the area of North Clinton and Doyle Street. The Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 is reporting that it has adjusted its responses to include tankers while water pressure remains low around the area. (Doylestown Fire Company No. 1)
