Woman Charged With Trespassing, Man Arrested For Theft In Warrington

Homeless woman refuses to leave Wellness Center. Man breaks vacuum in an attempt to steal cash at car wash.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department reported the following arrests between Dec. 14 and 26:

  • Police responded to a call from the Doylestown Wellness Center regarding a homeless woman in the vestibule. Upon arriving, officers spoke with a 37-year-old woman who was found inside. It was noted that the woman had previously been advised numerous times that she was not permitted to remain at the Wellness Center. When police instructed her to leave, she became argumentative and refused to comply. Officers provided the woman with several alternative options, including transportation to another location, but she declined. She was arrested and charged with defiant trespassing. She was arraigned by Judge Douple, who set her bail at $500 or 10 percent cash. Unable to post bail, the woman was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

  • On March 14, police responded to a report of a theft at the American Car Wash at 1328 Easton Road. The investigation revealed that a 47-year-old Hatboro man had broken into a vacuum machine and stole a few dollars in coins. As a result of the break-in, the vacuum machine was damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced at a cost of $4,077.07. The man was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, and receiving stolen property.
