Woman Killed In Buckingham Township Crash

A 65-year-old woman was killed in a single-car crash Monday in Buckingham Township.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A 65-year-old woman was killed in a single-car crash Monday afternoon on Rt. 413 in Buckingham Township.

According to police, the crash happened along the 700 block of Route 413, just north of its intersection with Township Line Road. The car, a GMC Acadia, went off the road and into a retaining wall, police said.

The driver, who has not been identified, was the sole occupant in the car.

When police arrived, they initiated life saving measures but were unable to revive the driver. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was briefly blocked off at the Pineville Tavern due to the crash.

Buckingham Police were assisted at the scene by Lingohocken Fire Company. Newtown Township Police assisted with traffic control around the scene.
