• Edgewood police assisted Wilkinsburg officers with a report of shots fired and people screaming near Swissvale Avenue and Rebecca. Nothing found.
• Edgewood police assisted Wilkinsburg officers with a domestic call near the Wendy’s restaurant on Penn Avenue.
• Edgewood police assisted Wilkinsburg officers on a report of three men carrying firearms near Penn and avenues.
• Edgewood police assisted Swissvale officers with a driving under the influence arrest. Alphonso Ellis had a .170 percent blood alcohol content after a breath test.

• Police responded to an animal complaint after a rabid raccoon was found. Triangle Pet was notified and it was put down.

• Edgewood police assisted Wilkinsburg officers with a report of a burglary on Coal. The building was found to be secure, no entry made.

• Police responded to a domestic dispute call.

• Edgewood police assisted Swissvale and Monroeville officers with a report of a suicidal man with a gun at Family Dollar’s parking lot. The man was transported to Forbes Regional Hospital.

March 21

• Two juveniles were reportedly running onto porches and looking into cars along East Hutchinson. Nothing was found to be stolen and the children were transported back to their homes.
• Police assisted on a report of a rabid raccoon. 
• Police assisted Braddock officers in a search for a missing woman from a care home. She was later found.

March 22

• Police responded to a retail theft report at Giant Eagle. Private prosecution.
• Police responded to an open door at Koenig Field. Building was secure.
• Police charged Kyle Wilson after a traffic stop near exit 77 on the Parkway East with possession of heroin and marijuana. Police also found more than $6,000 in the car.
