Pancake Breakfast to Benefit Bryn Mawr Welcome Wall in Forest Hills
Check out this event this Saturday.
Residents of Forest Hills will celebrate the completion of the Bryn Mawr welcome wall with a gourmet pancake breakfast this Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Juniper Village at Forest Hills.
Everyone is invited to the sumptuous, all-you-can-eat breakfast, featuring pancakes with fruit toppings, eggs, bacon and sausage, pastries and fresh fruit salad.
Rainbow the clown will make balloon toys and animals, and there are more than 20 raffleprizes donated by local merchants. The grand door prize, sponsored by Late Bloomers Garden Club, is a shopping spree at the Forest Hills Farmer’s Market.

All proceeds from the breakfast will go towards the construction and maintenance of the wall on Sherwood Road, which was completed last weekend. Neighbors, friends and business sponsors purchased 120 decorative clay tiles that were made by local ceramic artist Jane Freund, who was co-project coordinator with Jeanne Premozic and members of Bryn Mawr Farms Organization. The tiles are installed on towers at each end of the wall, along with a 25-foot mosaic sign that spells out the historic name of the community: Bryn Mawr Farms.
Prices for the breakfast: $8 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Juniper Village is located at 107 Fall Run Road, just off of Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills. Parking is free. For more information, call 412-244-9901.
