Swissvale Church Doubles as Food Bank Center

Living Spirit Ministries has become the official location for Swissvale's branch of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

Volunteers gathered at on Irvine Street Thursday morning to organize food just before it was picked up.

The church, also known as Living Spirit Ministries, recently took over as the local spot for the after encountered trouble with their building. 

The church distributes food on the first and third Thursdays of the month.
