U.S. Marshals Arrest Fugitive in 2012 North Braddock Shooting

Carl Henderson is taken into custody in Monroeville on Tuesday.

Carl Henderson, 18, of North Braddock has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force on charges of criminal attempt-criminal homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a firearm.

Henderson (also known as "Trigger") is alleged to have shot a female victim once in the abdomen following a verbal altercation on Bell Avenue in North Braddock that occurred on April 8, 2012. Henderson, who was 17 at the time of this incident, is being charged as an adult in this case.

He was arrested at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 4700 block of Monroeville Boulevard, Monroeville, by task force officers without incident.

The U.S. Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force is made up of the following:  U.S. Marshals, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Attorney’s Office.
