Another display, “Illuminating Independence,” features ornate Declaration of Independence artworks by Harrisburg penman Sherman Notestine, with both exhibits running through August 2.

(GD-OTS) Agrees To Pay $838,125 To Settle a Voluntary Disclosure Related to Phosphate Procedure Compliance Issues (einpresswire.com) — Federal prosecutors in Harrisburg say defense contractor General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems will pay $838,125 after self-reporting problems with phosphate testing on Army shell body contracts. The company disclosed that some munitions weren’t tested as frequently as required between 2019 and 2021, then cooperated with investigators and took corrective action. The case was handled by federal investigative agencies and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Harrisburg.

Mid-Penn girls basketball stars for Friday, Dec. 12 (pennlive.com) — Harrisburg’s girls basketball team fell 56-38 to State College Friday, with Skayleis Sweigart leading Harrisburg scorers with 11 points in Mid-Penn Conference play.
