Haverford Police Department Hiring New Officers In 2023
Applications are available through Feb. 22, officials said. Here's how to apply:
HAVERFORD, PA- Haverford police are now accepting applications for police officers through next month, department officials said.
Opportunities available include K-9, SWAT, bike, motor, detective and special ops teams, the Haverford police department said in a Sunday announcement via social media. No prior police academy experience is required and salaries start at $75,557.
Applicants must be 21 years of age by time of appointment and have a valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED.

The deadline is Feb. 22 by 3 p.m. The application and $45 non-refundable registration fee can be submitted Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the Haverford Police Department Human Resources department at 1014 Darby Road, Haverford PA 19083.
The written test will take place on March 11 at the Haverford High School Cafeteria at 9 a.m.; Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and doors will close at 8:50 a.m.

“The top fifty (50) applicants with the highest written score will continue with the hiring process,” police said. “Final applicants will be required to pass an oral, physical and agility test, a psychological examination, polygraph examination and a background investigation.”
