4% Tax Hike Approved In Proposed Hatboro-Horsham School Budget
The school board will vote on its final 2025-2026 school budget at its meeting on June 16.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Hatboro-Horsham School Board has approved a proposed final 2025-2026 school budget that will include a 4 percent tax increase.
Director of Business Affairs Bill Stone said the proposed $136.3 million budget increases spending by 3.3 percent or $4.2 million. That will produce a shortfall of $3.5 million.
To make up that shortfall, the school board last week approved the 4 percent tax increase. The state's Act 1 index this year is 4 percent.
