Horsham Golf Outing Fore Scores For Fire, Police Departments
Horsham Township Council recognized an organization for its fundraiser to help support the police and fire departments.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Fore score times 10.
That's how much the Waterside Horsham Foundation's first golf opening raised for the Horsham Township Police Department and Horsham Fire Company.
The organization was recognized at Monday night's Horsham Township Council meeting.

The foundation raised $42,100 at the event.
The Waterside Horsham Foundation was formed by a group of residents who wanted to give back to the community.

In other township business:
- The council approved the issuance of a bond by North Penn Health, Hospital and Education Authority for $4.8 million to fund Phase 3 of the Quaker School at Horsham’s expansion project. Classrooms will be added to the Meetinghouse Road school for 9th through 12th graders. The approval of the bond does not incur any financial liability for the township. The vote was unanimous.
- The council also approved a bid for line painting in the township to A1 Traffic Controls for $63,409.
