$416K In State Grants Coming To Horsham Township

State Sen. Maria Collett and State Rep. Melissa Cerrato helped secure the grants for two projects in Horsham next year.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The township is getting $416,000 in state grants courtesy of State Sen. Maria Collett.

Collett (D-12 Montgomery, Caucus Chair) announced $5.8 million in Local Share Account and Act 13 grant awards for 23 infrastructure projects across the 12th Senatorial District in Montgomery County, including Horsham.

Horsham Township will receive $116,823 to buy electronic control devices for the police department.

Meanwhile, the Horsham Water & Sewer Authority will receive $300,000 to replace a section of water main in the Well 20 Area.

“When we invest in key infrastructure projects like these, we’re investing in a safer, healthier future where all of us can thrive," Collett said, who also received help in securing the grants from State Reps. Melissa Cerrato and Nancy Guenst. "I was proud to work alongside state and local partners to secure this funding and ensure our roadways are intact, our utility systems are repaired, and our first responders have the resources they need to protect our communities.”
