Schools Superintendent Scott Eveslage said the roof, installed at the new school in 2017, had numerous leaks. He said the district is continuing its efforts to recoup the costs of that roof.

Eveslage said the district had received $575,000 in grants and that it will continue legal pathways to recover the money.

Meanwhile, the school district also received the NAMM Foundation’s Best Community for Music Education Award. It is the second consecutive year that the district has won the award.
