Courtland C. Ross Jr., 90, of Hatboro

Funeral arrangements have been set for Courtland C. Ross Jr., of Hatboro.

Courtland C. Ross Jr. of Hatboro died on Thursday. He was 90.

Ross was the beloved husband of the late Mabel I. Ross. Born in Ambler, he was the son of the late Mary and Courtland Ross Sr.

Mr. Ross served in the United States Army in WWII in the Philippines. He enjoyed coin collecting, wood working, big band music and he had a love for the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Bruce, (Pat), Wayne and Roy (Ethal), Theobold Clarke, Grace Clarke-Mark (Tony), Joan Ricci-Clarke; 26 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Callow. 

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. His interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
