Leila has worked so incredibly hard through all of her high school years earning honor roll status every quarter. Leila attended Hatboro-Horsham High School during the pandemic in 9th grade and decided to audition for the opportunity to attend The Philadelphia High School for Creative & Performing Arts. Leila was accepted and started 10th grade there, it wasn’t an easy transition especially having to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to take the train from Hatboro to Jefferson Station and then catch a bus to her new school but she made it work every day for three years. It took time for Leila to find her tribe but once she did everything changed for the better. Leila embraced the diversity she was surrounded by and thrived! Leila’s major at CAPA is vocal performance and she has been accepted to attend Berklee College of Music in the fall.
