Hatboro-Horsham Alum Named As 2026 Rhodes Scholar
The Hatboro-Horsham School Board also bought land near Hallowell Elementary School for possible expansion.

HATBORO / HORSHAM, PA — A Hatboro-Horsham School District alum has been named as a 2026 Rhodes Scholar.
During its November Hatboro-Horsham School Board meeting, Schools Superintendent Scott Eveslage acknowledged the achievement of Alice Hall, a Class of 2022 alum who has received one of the most prestigious global academic scholarships.
School Board Vice President David Brown — in his Facilities Committee presentation — said the board unanimously approved adjustments for the Keith Valley Project, the purchase of a new utility vehicle for the Keith Valley Middle School, and a proposal from Glenside Glass to replace the press box windows at Steinly Stadium.

Also approved were a change order for the High School Generator Replacement project, and the purchase and installation of unit ventilators at Blair Mill Elementary School from Johnson Controls.
Meanwhile, School Director Theresa Brown presented the following Finance Committee action items that were unanimously approved by the school board:

- Resident students being educated at a facility outside of the district
- Tax assessment stipulation between the Hatboro-Horsham School District and a commercial property owner in Horsham Township
- A quote to purchase the JAMF enterprise management tool for Apple devices
- Agreement of Sale with Triumph Property Management LLC for the purchase, transfer, and conveyance of a parcel number 36-00-03871-00-8 located at 890 Easton Road, for a purchase of $325,000. The parcel is adjacent to Hallowell Elementary School and provides the district with future options for flexibility.
- $1,000 worth of Gift Cards from Acme Markets Foundation to be donated to families in need
- Payment in lieu of taxes agreement with the Ukrainian American Sport Center
Eveslage also recognized the departing school board members who are not returning for their service and dedication to the school district over the years.
The school board was holding its meeting on Monday night with its new school board.
