Learn What Made This Hatboro-Horsham School So Special
The Horsham school served as the middle school and high school for decades. A farewell ceremony took place on Saturday.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — They walked the halls for the final time on Saturday, sharing memories, reminiscing, and reconnecting with the place that shaped so many lives.
Generations of Hatters walked through the familiar halls one last time on Saturday as the Hatboro-Horsham School District said goodbye to Keith Valley Middle School, which also once served as the district's high school.
"The turnout was absolutely fantastic," school officials said in a Facebook post.

Former teachers came by to revisit the classrooms where they inspired countless students at the school, which is being replaced by a new Keith Valley Middle School, which is opening in September.
The halls were open for everyone to wander and remember, while the library displayed treasured yearbooks, photographs, and memorabilia that told the story of the school's rich history.

In the cafeteria, classic football films from the 1950s were available, bringing back memories of Friday night lights and Hatter victories. Even the beloved planetarium was running, offering visitors one final journey to the stars. People had the opportunity to sign their names on bricks, leaving a lasting mark on the place that held so much meaning for them.
"The Hatter pride was abundant throughout the day. While this building may not be here much longer, the memories, friendships, and lessons learned within these walls will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who walked these corridors," school officials said. "Thank you to the HH Alumni Association for partnering with the district to open these doors one last time. We collaborated to provide our community with the opportunity to properly honor this special place."
