Have Some Weekend Undersea Fun with The SpongeBob Musical at HHHS
Hatboro-Horsham High School theatre group performs the vivacious musical this weekend on April 28, 29 and 30.

Add a dash of undersea excitement to your weekend by taking in Hatboro-Horsham's rendition of The SpongeBob Musical, a musical adaptation of Nickelodeon’s long-running animated children’s sitcom of the same name.
We find ourselves in the undersea city of Bikini Bottom, inhabited by happy-go-lucky and ever-optimistic yellow sea sponge SpongeBob SquarePants (Taylor Furness) and his equally quirky circle of friends and neighbors, including Patrick Star (Emily Dougherty), Sandy Cheeks (Elliott Kahmar), Squidward (Sadie Van Tassel), Mr. Krabs (Mike Marcus), and Plankton (Caleb Hansford).
SpongeBob’s pleasant existence is abruptly interrupted when it is discovered that Mt. Humongous, a nearby volcano, will erupt within the next 48 hours and completely obliterate Bikini Bottom.

SpongeBob becomes determined to prove to himself and the world that he is not “just a simple sponge” and resolves to save the day when everybody else has given up all hope.
In place of a traditional score, the musical features songs written by a range of eclectic musical acts, from John Legend and Panic! at the Disco to Cyndi Lauper and Aerosmith. The performance also features vivid costumes and vibrant sets.
