The show, performed by Keith Valley Middle School students, is produced by Kristen Schada, directed by Barry Dougherty, Kelly Snyder and Mandy Jacobus, with music direction by Ed Conrad, choreography by HHHS senior Grace Kohler and construction props by Pamela Flack. This direction team has previously dazzled audiences with productions of ‘You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown,’ 'Aladdin, Jr.,' 'Cinderella: Enchanted Edition,' 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,' 'The Lion King, Jr.' and 'Grease: School Edition.'
Director Barry Dougherty explained the decision behind selecting this show, saying, "As we finally come back to the KVMT stage after having to create a green-screen production with last year’s ‘You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown,’ I really wanted an iconic show to bring everyone back to live theatre. It doesn’t get more iconic than Annie. The characters and songs are so beloved and bring the essence of live theatre to so many hearts that it was an obvious choice in my mind.”
All performances are at Keith Valley Middle School with shows on Thursday, 3/31 @ 7:00 pm, Friday, 4/1 @ 7:00 pm and Saturday, 4/2 @2:00 pm.
