What should your community know about this person?
As an older gentleman Mr. Ray runs circles around some of the other staff. He participates in every aspect of the centers days. He will even play a character in our centers yearly productions if asked. He helps out at our Spring Festival, he does the centers laundry, the sheets and towels and anything else that needs washing, folding it and bringing it back to the specific room it belongs in. He not only drives in the morning and afternoons, but in between those times, Mr. Ray is in the classrooms as a teacher assistant to the joy and delight of not only the teachers, but to the children of all ages. Mr. Ray is a quiet man and has a calming nature about him. Granted, he is not in a district school, but he is our Hero none the less.
