Learn Beer's History, Celebrate Thanksgiving Early
Budget and school board meetings and more are planned this week in Hatboro and Horsham.
- The Hatboro Borough Council will meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the municipal building, 414 S. York Road in Hatboro, for a 2014 budget workshop.
- The Hatboro-Horsham School Board will hold a facilities committee meeting at 5:45 p.m. on Monday followed by a regular action meeting at 7 p.m. at the district's administration building, 229 Meetinghouse Road in Horsham.
- The Horsham Environmental Advisory Board will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. at the municipal building, 1025 Horsham Road.
- The Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce will hold a Thanksgiving luncheon and food drive on Wednesday beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Talamore Country Club, 723 Talamore Drive in Ambler. Click here for more details.
- The Horsham Land Redevelopment Authority–the entity overseeing the redevelopment of 862 acres of the former Willow Grove air base–will meet on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the municipal building, 1025 Horsham Road in Horsham.
- The Horsham Park and Recreation board will meet on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building, 1025 Horsham Road. Click here to meet the new park and recreation director.
- The Horsham Athletic Club, 400 Horsham Road, will host a history of beer discussion, sampling of ancient beers. Cost is $20 and proceeds benefit the Friends of the Horsham Library. Click here for more details, or to register.
