House Fire Under Investigation In Horsham

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A house fire over the weekend is under investigation, authorities said.

Horsham Community Police Services said that the fire company responded just before 9 a.m. on Saturday to a house fire on Norristown Road.

First crews reported a working kitchen fire. Additional units were dispatched to both assist at the scene and to cover the fire company at the station in case another call came in, Horsham ChATs said.

Horsham ChATs said the home was spared from more serious damage due to the fast response by fire crews assisting from Bucks and Montgomery counties.

The Horsham Township Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.

Horsham ChATs said there were no injuries. The family was assisted by the township's Department of Emergency Management.
