HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Maple Avenue has been temporarily closed Thursday due to "hazardous roadside conditions" from a fallen tree, police said.

Horsham Township Police said that Maple Avenue is temporarily closed between Sherwood Lane and Buckman Drive due to hazardous roadside conditions.

Crews are being dispatched to address a tree that is leaning into the roadway, posing a danger to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

While police are hopeful that the tree will be removed before the evening rush hour, drivers should find an alternate route if their travels typically take them through this area of the township.
