Milling, Paving Summer Project Kicks Off In Horsham

Horsham officials said the work is set to begin on several township roads starting next week.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The township's summer road milling and paving project is set to start next week.

Glasgow, Inc. is scheduled to start milling the following roads:

  • Firewood Drive
  • Cedarbrook Drive
  • Greenwoods Drive
  • Forrester Road
  • Beaver Hill Road
  • West Moreland Road

That will be followed by paving the following week, weather permitting, township officials said.

During the paving projects, all streets will be open to local traffic and emergency vehicles.

That means local access for residents who live on the roadway that is being resurfaced.

Other residents using these roadways should plan for extended traffic congestion, brief total road closures, and detoured routes, officials said.

Township officials are also warning residents that the asphalt is hot and that children and pets should be kept away from areas until they are completed.
