Milling, Planning Progressing In Horsham
Horsham Township officials have updated their summer milling and paving project.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Horsham Township has updated its summer milling and paving project.
Horsham Township Public Works has completed paving Lois Road and plan to complete Joseph Road and Marietta Drive from Monday to Wednesday.
Horsham Township's milling contractor, A. Giuliani, is scheduled to start milling Babylon Road (Davis Grove Road to Horsham Road) and Prospect Avenue (Walnut Ave to Sawmill Lane) on Thursday and Friday, with public works prepping for paving behind the milling, township officials said.

The plan is to pave Babylon Road and Prospect Avenue from Friday to Wednesday.
By the end of Friday, the contractor will have milled:

- Greenwoods Drive
- Firewood Drive
- Clearbrook Drive
- Forrester Road
- Beaver Hill Road
- Moreland Road (Maple Ave to approximately the Hallowell Moreland Road Entrance)
Township officials said that Glasgow plans on milling Babylon Road (Sheehy Drive to Horsham Road) on Monday, and continue to Lower State Road ( Squires Drive to Horsham Road) on Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Glasgow will also start paving Greenwoods Drive, Firewood Drive, Clearbrook Drive, Forrester Road, Beaver Hill Road on Monday to Wednesday.
Then paving Moreland Road, Babylon Road, and Lower State Road. During the paving projects, all streets will be open to local traffic and emergency vehicles. Meaning, if you reside on the roadway that is being resurfaced, you will be allowed access to and from your home.
Other residents using these roadways should plan in advance for extended traffic congestion, brief total road closures, and detoured routes.
The schedule is subject to change at any time for a variety of reasons.
Children and pets should be kept away from areas until completed, and caution should be used at all times to avoid harm due to hot asphalt.
