HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Hatboro-Horsham School District is celebrating two significant achievements that demonstrate the district's commitment to providing the highest quality education for its students.

The school district was recently upgraded to an Aaa credit rating from Moody's Investors Service, officials said.

The upgrade places Hatboro-Horsham in an elite group of just 11 school districts in Pennsylvania to earn this distinction, signifying exceptional financial management practices, strong fiscal health, and outstanding leadership in educational finance.

The achievement of the Aaa rating represents the culmination of years of strategic financial planning and prudent fiscal stewardship by the district leadership.

This accomplishment directly benefits the community by reducing borrowing costs for capital
improvements, ultimately allowing more resources to be directed toward educational
programs and initiatives, school officials said.

Meanwhile, the Hatboro-Horsham School District has also been recognized as a Great Pennsylvania School by the Pennsylvania School Board Association (PSBA).
