Santa Will Help At Hatboro Tree Lighting Ceremony
The annual tree lighting takes place on Friday night on the front lawn of the Union Library of Hatborough.

HATBORO, PA — Santa Claus is coming to Hatboro Friday night along with the annual lighting of the borough's Christmas tree.
The Union Library of Hatborough will close at 2 p.m. Friday to prepare for the Christmas Tree Lighting, and also at noon on Friday, Dec. 12, for the library's staff and volunteer appreciation luncheon.
Friday's festivities will run from 5:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the library on South York Road.

There will be a band in the children's room, then speeches and carols on the front lawn, followed by Santa's arrival and the tree lighting. (See the flyer below)

- The library will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1 for the holidays.
- While there won't be any Friday Story Times until Jan. 9, the library invites attendees to join for Tuesday Story Times at 10:30 a.m. each week.
- The sign-up link for the Watercolor Workshop on Dec. 20 is available on our website.
- The library's Pre-Teen/Teen Writers Series this month started on Wednesday for ages 7-12. The other three workshops on Dec. 10, 13, and 17 for ages 11-17. The workshops are free, but registration is required.
