Sports Radio 94WIP To Talk Phillies Trade Deadline At MaGerk's

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Phillie Phanatic is coming to Eastern Montgomery County.

So is Sports Radio 94WIP, which is coming to MaGerk's Horsham to broadcast live and talk about the Philadelphia Phillies with Major League Baseball's trade deadline on Tuesday.

The radio station has held several shows at the Horsham eatery in the past, including a Town Hall on the Philadelphia Eagles in mid-March.

The event consists of a full day of Phillies and baseball talk from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Doors open at 6 a.m. and breakfast sandwiches will be served until noon when the Phanatic is expected to make an appearance.

Of course, there will be talk about the Philadelphia Eagles as well now that the team's training camp has opened.

The event will feature such WIP radio personnel as former Philadelphia Eagles Ike Reese and Hugh Douglas, and the "Morning Show" crew of Joe DeCamara, Jon Ritchie, Rhea Hughes, and James Seltzer.

Other radio personalities such as Eliot Shorr Parks, and Howard Eskin may also appear along with radio hosts Joe Giglio and Jack Fritz.

MaGerk's will also offer Bloody Marys and Mimosas in the morning and Michelob Ultra beer bats throughout the day.

There's also $3.75 Bud and Bud Light drafts all day long.

The Philly-inspired restaurant is known for its signature cheesesteak sandwiches, which are served on bakery-fresh rolls with a crusty outside and a soft center, according to its website.
