Utility Work May Cause Traffic Troubles In Hatboro

HATBORO, PA —Ongoing utility work in the borough may cause some traffic troubles for drivers.

Officials said they were notified Thursday about utility work going on at several locations in the borough.

The utility work is as follows:

  • Contractors are currently performing underground utility work outside of the properties located at 21-23 & 37 N. York Rd. The contractor has closed the metered lane and half of the southbound lane of York Road while work is taking place.
  • PECO is currently performing wire repairs on Home Road. As a result, one lane of traffic is closed while work is taking place.

Drivers are asked to remain patient when traveling through these areas while crews perform work. If possible, drivers should avoid the areas until work is completed to avoid delays while traveling.
