Woman Made 24 Unauthorized Withdrawals, Police Say

Horsham Township Police arrested an Erdenheim woman Wednesday for allegedly making unauthorized checking account withdrawals.

A 32-year-old Erdenheim woman is facing three felony charges for allegedly making two dozen unauthorized withdrawals from a Horsham victim's checking accounts. 

Emily Josaphine Crawford was arrested on Wednesday and charged with access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, and receiving stolen property, all felony offenses.

Horsham Township Police detectives had received several complaints that Crawford had allegedly accessed numerous checking accounts of the victim without authorization.

In all, Crawford is accused of making 24 unauthorized withdrawals totaling approximately $4,300. 

Following a preliminary arraignment on Wednesday before Horsham District Judge Harry J. Nesbitt III, Crawford was released after posting $5,000 unsecured bail.
