Bicyclist Hit in Front of Yocum Ford
The bicyclist should have not been riding on the sidewalk, police said

A Lansdale Police sergeant said a bicyclist who was hit Monday by an SUV as he rode on the sidewalk in front of Yocum Ford should have been riding on the roadway.
According to The Reporter, the bicyclist was east on Main Street, when he was hit by a Ford Explorer turning into Yocum Ford at East Main and Line streets.
The bicyclist suffered a cut to his lip and other minor injuries, and refused medical treatment at the scene, according to the article.

The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet, according to the article. The SUV sustained minor damage to its passenger side.

An employee of told The Reporter that there are speeding concerns on Line Street and they would be brought before a future Lansdale Public Safety meeting.
