Bucks Youth Soccer Coach Receives Sentence From Montco Judge For Sexting Teen Girl

UPPER GWYNEDD, PA — A Bucks County man who worked as a youth soccer instructor was sentenced to five years of probation after making sexual advances to a teenage girl, a Montgomery County Court judge ruled.

Jordan Geller, 21, of Furlong, Bucks County, was sentenced on June 9 by Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas M. DelRicci, after Geller pleaded guilty to a first-degree misdemeanor count of corruption of minors.

In exchange for his guilty plea, two felony counts of corruption of minors and unlawful contact with minors were dropped, court records show.

According to media reports, the case dated back to late 2020, when Upper Gwynedd Township police were tipped off by the victim that Geller had been engaging in inappropriate communication with her, which included sexting and unwanted physical advances.

A story on the website NorthPennNow states that the inappropriate behavior began in the summer of 2020, at which time Geller served as an instructor at Total Soccer in Warminster, Bucks County.

The victim reportedly told police that the behavior started to occur during the time she was a student there for about six months.

The story says that Geller's employment with Total Soccer was terminated after owners learned of the accusations.

According to the criminal docket sheet in the case, the judge, in addition to the probation sentence, also ordered Geller to undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation and ordered him to have no further contact with the victim.

The judge also barred Geller from holding any job that would involve working with minors under the age of 18 and ordered Geller to undergo sexual offender supervision.
