A Victim Was Shot In The Hand During A Monday Evening Shooting In Lansdale

One victim was shot in the hand Monday evening in Lansdale borough. No arrest has been reported in connection with the incident.

LANSDALE, PA — A victim was shot during an incident in the borough Monday evening, according to local police.

Police were dispatched to the scene of the shooting around 9:30 p.m. along the 300 block of West Fifth Street, and after officers arrived, they discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot sounds, Lansdale Police said in a community alert.

The victim was subsequently taken by ambulance to Grandview Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police stated.

Investigators who responded to the scene recovered multiple shell casings, although no arrest was reported in connection with the incident.

Montgomery County emergency dispatch alerts from Monday stated that the victim had suffered gunshot wounds to the hand.

It was not immediately clear whether the victim received gunshot wounds to any other parts of his body.
