2 Hurt By Downed Tree In Bristol

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Two people were injured Tuesday when high winds knocked down a tree in Bristol Borough.

Police were called at 1:40 p.m. to Plum Alley in Bristol, to a report of two people trapped under a fallen tree. There, officers discovered two men, ages 59 and 43, under the fallen tree.

The Bucks County Rescue Squad, along with Bristol Borough Fire Department and Bristol Township Fire Department, worked to cut away branches, enabling medical workers to treat and remove the victims.

Both men were taken to Lower Bucks Hospital to be treated. Police described their injuries as minor.
