4 Vehicles Stolen In Bristol Township

Bristol Township Police said the four vehicle thefts took place in the past 48 hours.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bristol Township Police Department is asking residents to protect their vehicles after reports of at least four stolen vehicles in the township's Levittown section in the past 48 hours.

Sgt. Jason Mancuso said that key fobs were left in some of the vehicles, and that some vehicles were also left unlocked.

Police said they were able to recover some of the vehicles with no damage.

The thefts are occurring overnight, Mancuso said.

Police believe these thefts are related to people coming from Philadelphia and Trenton, N.J., looking to steal certain model vehicles.

Mancuso said that extra patrols will be deployed in Bristol Township.

Anyone seeing suspicious activity in the early morning hours should call 911 immediately.

Police are also stressing that everyone secures their key fobs and locks their vehicles, since it is very rare that locked vehicles are taken.
