Boy, 9, Injured After Being Struck By Car In Falls Twp.
Falls Township Police said the boy was walking with other children on West Trenton Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A 9-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car while walking with other children on West Trenton Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The Falls Township Police Department responded at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday to the area of West Trenton Avenue and Valarie Road in the township's Morrisville section for a motor vehicle accident involving a struck child pedestrian.
A preliminary investigation found that a group of elementary school-aged children was walking along the shoulder of West Trenton Avenue when one child, a 9-year-old boy who resides in Fallsington, ran into the roadway.

A 22-year-old woman from Robbinsville, N.J., was traveling in a Mazda CX5 along West Trenton Avenue toward Lincoln Highway when she unsuccessfully steered to avoid striking the male.
The boy hit the front bumper and hood before landing on the roadway, police said.

He was taken to Saint Mary Medical Center for minor injuries. The female driver did not suffer any injuries.
Police said that alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in the accident.
