Want to know what you checked out last month? Can’t remember the title of that book you loved? Look no further than your checkout history! The new system will allow you to save and browse your past library checkouts. After you opt in to your reading history, the system will remember everything you’ve borrowed starting from the date of your opt-in.
Tired of digging through Goodreads to find your next favorite book? Let the library system do the work for you! When you enable your reading history, you can also get recommended titles based on your borrowing history.
Want to stay up to date on new library books? Get new book alerts sent directly to your email inbox so you can be the first to check them out from the library! Choose from over 30 genres and non-fiction categories. When you sign up, you’ll receive a monthly list based on your preferences.
Want to renew books for a family member or friend? With the new catalog, you’ll be able to link online accounts and renew books for someone else! Â
The new online system will launch January 12. On that date, these features (and more!) will be available. Remember: your library card and PIN will not change, but you’ll need to set a password to access your online account. Visit your local library or the FAQ page for help with setting up your password and using other account features.
