Drunk Falls Man Attacked Woman With Water Cup: Police

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A 63-year-old man from Falls Township is under arrest after police say he drunkenly attacked a woman, including hitting her with a cup of water.

At about 10 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to Wheatsheaf Road in the Morrisville section. There, a woman told them that Michael D. Russo was intoxicated and that they had gotten into an argument.

During the argument, Russo "became upset and smacked the female in the head with a cup of water," according to police.

Another man was upstairs at the home and came down after he heard yelling, police said. They said that man discovered Russo on top of the woman and broke up the attack.

Russo was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, according to police.
