BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The trial of a Lower Bucks County man accused of beheading his father in his Lower Bucks County home started with the YouTube video that followed the January 2024 crime, authorities said.
Justin Mohn, 32, of Middletown Township, is charged with killing his father in January 2024 and posting a disturbing YouTube video holding his father’s decapitated head and calling for violent attacks against members of the federal government.
The video was shown at the trial, which began at the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas on Monday, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said. Mohn's mother took the stand to testify about finding her husband's head when she returned home from work.

Authorities called the video "gruesome" and "disturbing."
The video, which was 14:35 minutes in length and was seen by Patch, showed Mohn wearing the same style of clear rubber gloves observed at the crime scene.
Mohn also picked up the decapitated head of his father, identifying him by name and as his father, stating,"he is now in hell for eternity."
It appeared in the video that Mohn was reading from a pre-recorded script, and based on his motion and the sound of keys, it appeared to be on a computer.
In the video, Mohn again picks up Michael Mohn's decapitated head inside the cooking pot and displays it on the video.
Detectives viewed the video and the crime scene, confirming that the gloves, decapitated head, and room were the same as depicted in the video.
