BRISTOL, PA — A man who crashed his van through a fence in Bristol on Monday said he was texting while driving when it happened, according to police.

Bristol Borough Police say a 28-year-old man from Levittown turned himself in Wednesday and took responsibility for the crash, which happened at about 11:30 a.m. Monday on Bridalpath Road.

They did not publicly identify the man, who they say will face motor vehicle charges in the crash.

On Wednesday, police had put out a notice seeking the public's help finding the older-model Chevrolet van driven in the crash.
