9/5/2022 - Juvenile Complaint: Patrol responded for Bustleton Pike for a report of Juveniles being disorderly inside a store spraying body spray. When patrol arrived, the juveniles had already left the scene.

9/5/2022 - DUI Arrest: Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike and Twining Ford Road for a report of a speeding vehicle. Officers observed a vehicle driving at slow speed with a line of vehicles behind it. Officers initiated a traffic stop. The operator was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, processed and released.

9/5/2022 - Fire: Patrol responded to Bennett Place for a report of a dumpster fire. Northampton Township Fire Department was on scene and extinguished the fire. No suspicious activity was observed.

9/5/2022 - Traffic Accident: Patrol responded to Old Jacksonville Road for a report of an accident involving a deer. Complainant states that while driving on Old Jacksonville Road, a deer entered the roadway and they were unable to avoid striking it. No visible damage was noted, and the vehicle was driven from the scene.

9/6/2022 - Traffic Accident: While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle with two flat tires. They spoke with the vehicle owner who indicated that their son was driving the vehicle when he became distracted and hit the curb causing the flats. The vehicle was towed from the scene, no injuries were reported.

9/6/2022 - Warrant Arrest: Patrol was advised by Philadelphia Police Department that they had a person in custody with an active arrest warrant out of Northampton Township. Officers responded to PPD Headquarters and took custody of the individual, who was returned to Northampton, processed, arraigned by Judge Gambardella and released.

9/6/2022 - Littering/Dumping: Patrol responded to St. Leonards Road and Indian Summer Road for a report of littering/dumping in the area. Complainant reports a vehicle stopping, an individual getting out and putting something in the woods and then leaving. Patrol found a bucket and disposed of it in the proper manner.

9/7/2022 - Hit & Run Accident: Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a hit and run. Complainant, Unit #2, states they were driving on Newtown-Richboro Road by 2nd Street Pike when a tri-axle dump truck attempted to go around their vehicle. The truck went into the oncoming lane of traffic and when it tried to get back in its lane of travel, it struck the driver’s side of Unit #2 and kept going. Patrol was able to obtain surveillance video from surrounding businesses and identified the truck. Patrol contacted the business and the owner was looking into which of his vehicle’s was involved.

9/7/2022 - Traffic Accident Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike and Windsor Drive for a report of a three-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while traveling on 2nd Street Pike failed to stop for traffic and struck Unit #2, which struck Unit #3. Unit #2 suffered disabling damage and was towed form the scene. While both Unit #1 and Unit #3 suffered minor damaged. No injuries were reported.

9/7/2022 - Occupational Accident: Patrol responded to a business on Louise Drive for an occupational accident. Upon arrival patrol found and individual who had suffered a severe laceration to their thigh. Patrol help to dress the wound and apply pressure while waiting for EMS. The individual was transferred to the hospital in stable condition.

9/7/2022 - Fraud: Complainant contacted police headquarters to report an identify theft. Complainant states that they were notified by email that two bank accounts were attempted to be opened in their name through Bank of America and Truest Bank, neither of which were done by the complainant. Complainant stated they had already contacted the three credit reporting agencies and wanted a report of the matter filed of record.

9/7/2022 - Drug Possession: While on Patrol, officers observed a vehicle with violations and pulled over the vehicle. After further investigation, Patrol located controlled substances. The driver was placed under arrest, processed and release to a family member.

9/8/2022 - Medical Emergency: While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle traveling on Almshouse Road, passing vehicles in the oncoming traffic lane. Officers initiated a traffic stop when the operator explained they were having a medical emergency and were headed to the hospital. Officers called for an ambulance to respond to the scene to take the operator to the hospital.

9/8/2022 - Road Hazard: While on patrol, Officers noticed a pile of glass resting against a curb on Oxford Drive. A resident came and spoke with the officer indicating that this is a common occurrence. Officers contacted DPW to clean up the hazard.

9/8/2022 - Fraud: Complainant contacted police to report fraudulent activity on their PayPal account. Complainant states they were contacted by Grub Hub regarding a large purchase in Georgia. Complainant was able to stop the transaction and place a hold on their PayPal account.

9/9/2022 - DUI Arrest: Patrol responded to the area of Bustleton Pike and Upper Holland Road for a report of an unconscious individual. Upon arriving on scene Patrol found the individual in their vehicle in the intersection, unconscious. The individual was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, processed and released to a friend.

9/9/2022 - Theft: Patrol responded to Industrial Drive for a report of a stolen catalytic converter. The Complainant states that the theft occurred between 09/08/22 at 2:00 p.m. and 9/9/22 at 3:55 a.m. Patrol located surveillance cameras and are awaiting footage.

9/9/2022 - Traffic Accident: Patrol responded to a parking lot at Addisville Way for a one vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 while leaving the parking lot struck a light post, street sign and ended up on a curb, causing multiple airbags to deploy. The driver refused EMS and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

9/9/2022 - Traffic Accident: Patrol responded to Buck and Rocksville Roads for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 traveling on Rocksville Road stopped at the stop sign and was making a left-hand turn, when Unit #2 attempted to go straight across Buck Road from Rocksville and was struck by Unit #1. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required a tow from the scene.

9/9/2022 - Fraud: Patrol responded to Holly Knoll Drive for a fraud report. Complainant states they attempted to sell an item on Facebook Market Place, when the buyer was supposed to make a payment through Zelle, they indicated they had to pay an additional $300 and wanted the money returned immediately. Complainant states they never received any money and disabled their Zelle Account. They did not suffer any monetary loss.

9/10/2022 - Fraud: Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud on her savings account. Complainant states that an unknown subject withdrew $2,450 cash from their account from a branch in Forty Fort, PA. Complainant states that late last month their car was broken into and their purse stolen with the banking information inside. The bank cancelled their debit card but did not change savings/checking account numbers. As soon as the complainant was made aware of the withdrawal, they contacted the bank who froze the account and asked the complainant to file a police report.

9/10/2022 - Traffic Accident: Patrol responded to E. Bristol Road for a report of a traffic accident. Unit #1 was at the stop sign on Bustleton Pike when they attempt to make a left on to E. Bristol Road and struck Unit #2 on the side of the vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

9/10/2022 - Traffic Accident: Patrol responded to W. Bristol Road and Davisville Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 when Unit #2 stopped for a red light. No injuries were reported neither vehicle required a tow.

9/10/2022 - Hit & Run: Patrol responded to Stockton Place for a report of a hit and run. Complainant states that their vehicle was backed into sometime overnight, causing damage to the driver’s side rear door and rear quarter panel.

9/11/2022 - Traffic Accident: Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 began to hydroplane as they negotiated a curve, losing control of the vehicle causing them to drive up and into the hillside of private property. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

9/11/2022 - Hit & Run: Patrol responded to Sackettsford Road for a report of a hit and run accident. Complainant states that they were struck from behind while slowing down. Complainant believes it was Jeep that hit them. Complainant’s vehicle sustained severe damage to the rear, but did not require a tow. Complainant suffered minor injuries. Patrol attempted to find surveillance video in the area.
