‘Isolated’ Shooting Incident Under Investigation At Oxford Valley Mall
Law enforcement responded to the mall Thursday evening for the report of an active shooter.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — An isolated shooting outside the Oxford Valley Mall at a SEPTA bus stop Thursday evening is under investigation by the Middletown Township Police Department.
Police are reporting that the offender and victim knew each other, and the shooter fled immediately.
“This was not an active shooter incident. There was a clear intended target who was the only victim,” police said.

Police said the shooter was last seen wearing green pants, a dark colored jacket, and was holding a black and white bag. The firearm was a handgun, possibly a revolver, said police.
The victim was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the elbow and a stab wound to the arm. The victim was reportedly in stable but critical condition.

The mall was evacuated while police searched for the shooter. The shopping center later closed for the evening.
