Life Memorial Planned For Late Lower Bucks Co. Supervisor

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A life memorial will be held Thursday night for the late Middletown Township Supervisor Anna Payne, who passed away last week.

The life memorial for Anna Payne will take place at Celebrations, 2201 Galloway Rd. in Bensalem from 6-9 pm with a service starting at 6:30 pm.

"We extend condolences to the family and friends of Middletown Township Supervisor Anna Payne," the Neshaminy School District said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

Payne passed away last week after battling cystic fibrosis and colon cancer.

She was a Neshaminy High School graduate who lived a life of service to the community.

"She publicly shared her medical journey and led efforts to support others dealing with rare diseases in Bucks County and throughout the state," school officials said. "She also supported the district through her work with the Middletown Community Foundation."

U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick Payne on the PA House floor recently as a "hometown hero."

Payne was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at a young age. In 2021, Payne received a stage-four colon cancer diagnosis.

As Middletown Township Supervisor, Payne was a fierce and effective leader, working to make the community stronger, safer, and more connected, championing initiatives that enhanced local infrastructure, protected public safety, and bettered our community, Fitzpatrick said.
