LEVITTOWN, PA — SEPTA's outbound service on the Trenton line was suspended Wednesday morning, and inbound service badly delayed, after a person was struck by an Amtrak train.
Emergency crews were on the scene where a "trespasser" was hit by the train, SEPTA said in a social media post at about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. A spokesman for SEPTA did not know the exact location of the incident, except to say it was along the Trenton line.
At 12:20 p.m., SEPTA posted that service had been restored, but that riders should expect delays in both directions.
