Police Chase Ends With Crash In Falls Twp.
The driver, who crossed the Calhoun St. Bridge from Trenton, hit a police car and nearly struck an officer, police said.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A man on the run from police in New Jersey crashed into a police car and nearly hit an officer in Falls Township on Monday, authorities said.
At 4:42 p.m., Falls Township Police were alerted that Trenton (N.J.) Police were chasing a silver Honda that had crossed the Calhoun Street Bridge into Pennsylvania. The driver, later identified as Naaman W. Little, 34, of Trenton, was wanted for assault on police for trying to run over a Trenton detective.
The chase went up West Trenton Avenue onto Rt. 13 southbound. The Honda exited Rt. 13 to Millcreek Road, then got back on Rt. 13 northbound. Little got off at the Penn Valley Road exit, but then sped up the ramp to get back on Rt. 13 northbound again, police said.

According to police spokesman Lt. Nelson Whitney, a Falls Township Police officer, George Thomas, was at the top of the entrance ramp deploying "stop sticks," a device thrown onto the roadway that can deflate a vehicle's tires.
Little lost control of the Honda trying to avoid the stop sticks and crashed into a marked Falls police car, Whitney said. He said the car narrowly missed hitting Thomas.

He was taken to Bucks County Correctional Facility, where he was being held on 10 percent of $500,000 bail.
