The theme park in Langhorne is closed, but Elmo and Cookie Monster will pay respects to workers at St. Mary Medical Center.

LANGHORNE, PA — Sesame Place in Langhorne may still be closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. But some of the parks most famous stars are going to be showing their support for local healthcare workers.
Wednesday afternoon, Elmo and Cookie Monster will join the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Department for a ride to St. Mary Medical Center. There, while taking a ride in the bucked of a fire truck, they'll be waving and offering messages of support and thanks to the hospital's workers.
The Sesame characters are expected to visit the hospital around 3:30 p.m.

The theme park has been closed since March, when businesses were ordered to close their doors to help curb the spread of the coronavirus. Bucks County moved into the coronavirus plan's least restrictive green phase on Friday, but Sesame Place has not made any announcements about reopening.
