Shot Fired During Bristol Armed Robbery

The robbery happened early Sunday morning in the area of Otter and Swain streets, according to police.

BRISTOL, PA — Police in Bristol Borough are investigating an armed robbery in which the robber fired a shot at his victim early Sunday.

Officers were called at 5:45 a.m. Sunday to the area of Swain and Otter streets. There, a man told them he'd left a friend's house on Swain Street when he was approached by a man near Otter Street.

The stranger pulled out a silver and black revolver and fired a shot at him, he told police, then demanded money from the victim.

The man gave him money and the robber ran away. No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

Police described the robber only as a white male, standing about 5'8" and wearing a hat, with a bandanna covering his face.
