MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A thunderstorm sparked a shed fire near Penndel on Wednesday night, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to the 400 block of Neshaminy Street near Penndel during the thunderstorm that rolled through the area on Wednesday night.

A shed was found in flames before being extinguished by the Penndel Fire Company Engine 8.

The Middletown Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
