Carol Ann Caldwell Of Royersford Worked At Pennhurst, Loved Dogs
Carol Ann Caldwell of Royersford went to Henderson High School and was a lifelong Chesco resident who worked at Pennhurst and loved dogs.

ROYERSFORD, PA โ A lifelong Chester County resident who was dedicated to the care of dogs and worked at Pennhurst when it was a state facility, recently died.
Carol Ann Caldwell (nee Seeds), 84, died in Royersford on Oct. 7.
She was born in Pottstown on Feb. 27, 1937 to the late Morris P. Seeds and Evelyn Wadsworth Seeds. She grew up in Exton, attended Henderson High School in West Chester, and lived in the Royersford and Spring City area most of her life.

Carol is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Seeds and Philip Ellingsworth. She was pre-deceased by another son, Rodney Ellingsworth, her late husband Frank Caldwell, and by her sister, Joanne Henzie.
Carol enjoyed arts and crafts, especially crocheting. She loved dogs and cherished her time over the years with several toy poodles, Pierre and Fifi, Princess and Precious, and Lexi.

Carol worked for over 30 years at Pennhurst, both when it was a state facility and a veterans facility.
A brief service will be held to mark Caldwell's internment, along with the ashes of her late husband, Frank, on Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazier. A procession will form at the Memorial Park's entrance and proceed to the gravesite at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the SPCA.
